Seo in the term of layman

SEO come from ” search engine optimization” , so I think everybody should know the term search engine , but for ” optimization”  is strange , for the people who does not in this field , optimization for what , how and why?

Let’s have a very very brief explanation of SEO , is a decoration after cooking , wow , it’s too simple but again ,  same as you add more  colorful veggies , few cheese , asparagus and red souce ontop or around a bowel of  spicy curry.. huhh ,tasty , and your friend will say ” bravo , I like it!”

You have “curry” which is like “web content”

and add more decorations (optimization)  for friends(search engine ) ,they will like it and come closer , even rank you a better shop in town.
