Are there any caffeine effects recently?

I just noticed the abrupt changes in SERPs that swept across .com and .co.th this coming week , the index pages were reduced , SERPs from a very stable page dropped from the first page (which it stands for years) to fourth page , but actively updating pages are shifting to the first page ,  is it really caffeine effect now?
