We try to prove 2 theories , firstly SERPS filter is exist in new site (sandbox) and rel nofollow is just to tell google to not pass the pagerank . We have registered new domain with 20-30 pages index in google , with 10 + of backlinks , after index for 1 month then backlink to this site with anchor name but rel nofollow were placed in every pages of big forum ( about 7000 - 8000 pages) which has  pagerank 4 at home page . Traffic from google (about 50%) has drop dramatically after 2 days ,when we withdrawn all footer links , traffic come back to previous stage .

สถิติที่เอามาให้นี้เป็นเว็บ ที่เพิ่งจดโดเมนไม่นาน มีประมาณ 20 หน้า index ใน google และได้ traffic จาก search engine คือ google ประมาณ 50% ผมแขวนลิงค์แบบมหาศาลใน forum footer ซึ่งเป็น rel nofollow จาก ip เดียวกันประมาณ 6000-7000 หน้า ภายในวันเดียวคือ 26 กพ. ในสองวัน traffic จาก google หายหมด จึงเอาออก เมื่อ 5 มีค. ใช้เวลาเกือบอาทิตย์ จึงกลับมาคืนปกติ (ยังดีที่ไม่ de-index เชื่อว่าเป็นเพราะ เว็บค่อนข้างไม่ใหม่มาก และม backlink บ้างพอควร ถ้าเว็บใหม่ซิงๆ น่าจะ de-index แน่นอน)

การทดลองนี้พิสูจน์ว่า filter การกรองเว็บใหม่แบบเขี่ยลงกระบะทรายที่เรียกว่า sandbox มี และแถม bot ยังสามารถวิ่งตาม rel nofollow มาทำให้เกิดผลกับเว็บปลายทางได้ด้วย (แสดงว่า rel nofollow เป็นชื่อที่ก่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจผิดมากต่อเว็บมาสเตอร์ที่คิดว่า SE จะไม่ตามลิงค์เหล่านี้ แต่จริงๆคือตาม แต่ไม่ส่งผ่าน link juice(pagerank) ซึ่งจริงๆ rel nofollow เป็นการกำหนดจาก w3c แต่ GG เอามาใช้ครับ)

Thailand is quite a niche market especially if you target for Thai language ,many SEOs  can get top SERPs within few months due to smaller and lesser sites , and quite weak language filter . You can find many weird practices , hidden text , doorway pages , keyword stuffed , keyword spammed , or every possible black-hat techniques , surprisingly on Thailand top 20 sites !

Google has concerned also the poor quality of search in Thai language , after complaint from many companies . The last changed in text filtering mechanism started on 10th Jan 2008 has major effect to many black-hat sites , and yet to normal sites who also use -search pages with tagged ( or record queries).  The impact still need to be evaluated in the long term , but right now , quality of search is much improved. We are hoping for initiation of genuine Thai Adsense Service after fine tuning of all  filters.

ถ้าถามก่อนหน้า วันที่ 20 ธค. 2550 คงจะมีหลายคนเถียงว่า ทำไม เว็บใหญ่ๆ เช่น ….ok.com ก็ทำกัน ทำไม ไม่เห็นเกิดอะไรขึ้น

แต่ตอนนี้ หมอลักษณ์ฟันธง ผิดแน่นอนครับ (และเราก็ละอายด้วยว่า เกิดไป practice แบบนี้ไปกับเขา แต่เลิกแล้วด้วย) ด้วยข้อหานี้เลย ไม่ตรงกับ webmaster guideline ด้วยข้อหา load page with irrerevant keywords or doorway ถึงแม้เราจะเอาเหตุผลเข้าข้างตัวเองว่า มันมี content นะ หรือ ไม่ได้ชักจูงไปที่อื่นๆ หรือ ไม่ได้มีแต่ keyword อย่างเดียวนะ แต่ผิดก็คือผิดครับ จะเปลี่ยนมาเป็นถูกไม่ได้หรอก

traffic มันยั่วยวนครับ แต่การกระทำแบบนี้ไม่ดีกับเด็ก และเยาวชน ที่ก่อให้เกิดการชักจูงในทางที่ไม่ดี เลิกได้ก็ดีครับ โดนฟาดจาก google ไปหลายเว็บแล้ว น่าจะเลิกกันได้แล้วก่อนจะโดนดี
